Throughout the year we take the time to learn and appreciate all of the different cultural backgrounds and stories on this campus and in this world. Next week marks the start of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month here on campus, and Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) along with AAPI-focused student groups like Kaibigan, Hawaii Club and APAC have put together a month full of celebration, expression and discussion open to the Northwestern community.
Among these events is the annual JubilAsian, student produced culture show with a full banquet dinner and dance and musical performances. The AAPI community also welcomes the Executive Vice President of Northwestern University, Nim Chinniah this year’s JubilAsian keynote speaker.
JubilAsian will take place in the Norris Center’s Louis Room on Friday, May 6 from 6:00–8:00 p.m and all are welcome to attend. For more information for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month events check out the MSA website.
