Campus Inclusion and Community (CIC) developed the InclusionNU Fund in the spring of 2015 to assist Northwestern registered student organizations in funding programs and initiatives that align with the mission of Campus Inclusion and Community, of “cultivating learning environments through the intentional engagement of difference across and within various identities.” Student groups are allowed to apply for up to $750 during the academic year and have the flexibility to apply for one or multiple events during the academic year but cannot exceed the $750 cap per year.
This is a great opportunity for smaller student groups to dream big and expand their breadth of programming for the year while helping the Northwestern community as a whole diversify its interests and understanding of the world. Student groups wishing to apply must demonstrate their program integrates at least one of three criteria: promoting dialogue and identity expression, promoting leadership development, cultural competency or social justice education, and/or fostering community engagement and advocacy.

Don’t be afraid to think big this quarter — apply for the InclusionNU Fund and create something great. The last deadline for spring is April 10, so apply now!
